This event is an opportunity to give students a "Jump Start" on their high school career. This event will give students a chance to gain skills that will enable them to be successful while at Rockdale Magnet. Students will attend skill and academic boosting workshops and they will get a preview of Magnet's expectations. These workshops will help to bridge the gap between middle school and high school. Students will also be given the opportunity to get assistance on their Summer Reading project. Students will have the opportunity to work with their school counselor, Math, Science, and English teachers. The goal is for students to be on Honor Roll all 4 years of high school.
Student drop off is no earlier than 7:45 am - pick up is no later than 12:15 pm both days.
* A sack lunch will be available for students at the end of each day to take home.
